Northern Construction Service, LLC is a Massachusetts based General Contractor specializing in bridge construction, site work, marine construction, concrete work and utilities. Northern has projects throughout New England and New York. John L. DiVito and John N. Rahkonen founded Northern in 1996, since then the company has experienced steady growth, along with a reputation for quality workmanship.
From the very beginning their unique talents and experience has been the driving force in creating a company with the reputation of responsible ownership and which finds creative solutions for delivering a finished product built to last. As a result we have many clients who have used our services repeatedly throughout the years, as well as referring us to others. We embrace challenging projects allowing our employees to utilize their special talents and we take great pride in delivering a quality, finished product.
Our clients include Federal, State and Municipal agencies as well as private industrial and utility organizations. Northern is pre-qualified with numerous agencies and we maintain excellent relationships with many engineering companies, our bonding and insurance companies along with our bank and vendors. We attribute our success to creating strong relationships with our clients and employees and providing quality workmanship in a safe environment.
Northern currently has over 130 employees and maintains offices in Weymouth and Palmer, MA. John DiVito of our Weymouth office is the General Manager and Chief Estimator. John Rahkonen of our Palmer office is the General Superintendent. We have an exceptional team both in the field and in the offices that takes pride in every aspect of the business.
